Going concern disclosures

The New Zealand External Reporting Board (XRB) has released two publications spotlighting going concern disclosures due to the global economy and (more locally) the New Zealand economy facing multiple challenges that are expected to lead to slower growth. Many entities are under pressure from the uncertainty and challenges on the economy and wider New Zealand society.  

Separate publications have been issued containing guidance for:

• For-profit entities and
• Not-for-profit entities

These publication highlight key considerations those charged with governance should take into account when assessing and disclosing going concern related matters.
